Bisphenol A is a chemical structure that is different from natural estrogen, which is widely used in plastic manufacturing and belongs to the environmental secretion of interference. As the plasticizer, bisphenol A is an important substance for making plastics, including beverage packaging, bottle, water bottle, microwave, canned food and beverage jar, tooth, magnetic disk, glasses, and medical equipment. Normally, bisphenol A is only released in a small amount through diet, breathing, skin contact in daily life. However, heating or contacting acid-based compounds can accelerate the release of bisphenol A in plastics, and people often increase the absorption of bisphenol A because of the use of plastic products. Although bisphenol A stays for a very short time in the human body, the study still discovered that people continued to expose bisphenol A in their lives. According to US National Health Nutrition Survey Research Data Tips, more than 90% of American urine bisphenol A reach the detection level.

The results show that high-level bisphenol A exposure, increases risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, low-proteinuria and thyroid abnormalities and other metabolic diseases. And experts have reminded that repeated use of the plastic cup should be minimized, together with using  instead of lunch box in microwave heating.

High levels of bisphenol A exposure to human health, especially metabolic disorders, should be concerned. When purchasing baby feeding bottles, pay attention to its raw materials. Whether it meets quality standards or not, it is better to use glass or non-bisphenol A materials . The plastic container should be changed regularly.
