Common problems and solutions in ampoule filling and sealing
Appearance quality problems of ampoules after potting
1 Flat head The top of the ampoule is flattened but not drawn. Causes: The preheating flame and the drawing flame are too small; the pressure ampoule bearing is inflexible or the pressure is too small; individual ampoule walls are too thick. Solution: Strengthen the fire power of the two groups of flames before and after; replace the new bearing or adjust the inner spring of the ampoule pressure frame to strengthen the pressure so that the ampoule can rotate normally and form a wire drawing; remove the unqualified ampoule.
2 Tip The top of the melted ampoule has a tip. Causes: The drawing flame is too small; the tempering time of the ampoule after drawing is too short; the distance between the bottom end of the drawing clip and the horizontal center line of the flame is too large; individual ampoule walls are too thick. Solution: strengthen the strength of the drawing flame; adjust the control cam to prolong the tempering time; adjust the distance between the bottom end of the drawing clip to be slightly higher than the horizontal centerline of the flame by about 1 mm (the normal mechanical position); remove the unqualified ampoules.
