What should be paid attention to when cutting glass tubes?

1. 2-3mm thick flat glass. You can use a thin wooden ruler to measure the size first, and determine the cutting size on the ruler, paying attention to leaving a gap of 3 mm and a knife edge of 2 mm. When cutting, first use the side of the size against the side of the glass. The glass knife should be tightly attached to the other end of the ruler, and the glass knife should be drawn back directly without bending slightly.

2. 4-6mm thick glass. The method of cutting thick glass is similar to that of flat glass, but since this glass is relatively thick, care should be taken to hold it accurately and firmly during the cutting process, and the force should be even. You can also find a 4mm×50mm ruler, and cut the glass knife close to the ruler. Before cutting, kerosene should be applied to the cut for easier cutting.

3. 5-6mm large pieces of glass. This is a large piece of glass, and the cutting method is similar to that of thick glass. However, this type of glass has a large area and needs to be cut on the glass. After cutting, hold the glass tightly with both hands and remove it from the lower plate at the same time. Special attention must be paid, otherwise the whole piece of glass may easily break.
