What to do if the glass bottle cap cannot be opened
Method 4: Remove the vacuum sealing ring with hot water
1. Heat a small amount to temperature before boiling. When the bottle is turned upside down into a bucket full of water, there is enough water to close the cap so there is no need for a lot of water. Also, turn off an electric kettle or stove before the water boils. =
Especially when the bottle is cold, hot tap water works the same way. Pour enough tap water into a small bowl to submerge the lid.
Alternatively, you can run hot water directly over the lid. However, care must be taken not to allow hot water to contact the body of the bottle other than the cap.
2. Turn the bottle over and place it in a bowl filled with hot water. Make sure the cap is closed, but do not submerge the bottle itself in hot water. The hot water temporarily expands the lid, which removes the vacuum chamber. Wait 1-2 minutes until you hear the vacuum chamber removed.
3. Open the bottle. Return the bottle to its original orientation, wipe off the water, and remove the cap. Because the vacuum chamber has been removed, the lid will open nicely. However, hot water will dissolve the contents of the bottle.
